This can be done *IF* your organization has a premium license for Jet Enterprise.

This knowledgebase article describes how to use the utility included with that package.

Looks like you are using an older version.

By any chance, does the workbook have any password-protected sheets?

Re: Filter on a formula using Table Builder

Hello = Conditional Hiding (as described in the online knowledgebase ) does not apply to the NL("Table") function. What it appears you want to do, however, is to filter based on your NAV advanced dimensions that impact the Purchase Header table. In my demo database, there are a couple that do: 1-PH ...

Re: Filter customers with x orders in period

Hello - Sorting and/or filtering by count or sum is a pretty common thread here on this forum. Here is the basic concept. I've built a rudimentary report that shows my customers and some information about all of the their orders in the year 2017: 1-Cust Orders.png the design looks like this: 2 - Des...

Hi -

Yes, that can be done with a function similar to this:

Code: Select all

=NL("Rows","Item","No.","=Right(NF(,""Description""),2)","XX")

Re: Can I put separate Jet Reports in different tabs in the same workbook [SOLVED]

Yes, it is very easy to do this.

Here I have created a report with two sheets: Customer and Items:
Design1.png
Design2.png

When I run the report, the Jet functions on each sheets are evaluated:

Re: How to set an OR condition on a filter?

Hello - The easiest method, of course, is to use two NL("Rows") functions - one filtered by Batch Owner and the other by New Batch Owner . In situations where the results must be returned by a single function, you could accomplish that with something like this: =NL("rows","Posted work order line","d...

Re: Issues with Leading Zeros in Filters

Thank you. Typically, when a Jet report is run, Excel functionality is used to create temporary (hidden) backup copies of each worksheet. When the report is returned to Design mode, these backup copies are used to restore the contents of the sheets back to how they looked before the report was run. ...

Re: jet report not get data as my expected

Hi - From looking at the screen shots, the issue may be that your inner-most nested NL function is having to filter on the results of *BOTH* of your two outer NL functions. This can get problematic as Excel attempts to keep the cell references correct during replication. Whenever using multiple, nes...

Re: Issues with Leading Zeros in Filters

Hello James - What version of the Jet Excel add-in are you using? A feature was added a few years back to support leading zeros when filtering functions (since Excel does not support leading zeros for numbers). For example, I have a database with the following table: 0-data.png I build my report as ...

As you have discovered, it is not possible to place one of the replicating NL functions ("Rows", "Columns", or "Sheets") inside of an Excel IF() function. You'll want to see the knowledgebase article on Conditional Replication for information on how to accomplish what you are trying to do. I hope th...

Re: Sum within a table

The easiest way to do this would be using a Grouping-style report . However, it sounds like you are using the Table Builder . If that is the format you need, what you would want to do is to use two NAV tables. The first is one where each Document No. only appears once and the second table would be y...
